Terms of Use

Last updated 24 April 2026.

These terms apply when you use birdiebrae.co.uk. Using the site means you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Who we are

Birdie Brae is operated from Glasgow, Scotland. You can reach us at hello@birdiebrae.co.uk.

What we publish

We write editorial content about Scottish golf — course reviews, trip advice, history, and related topics. We aim to be accurate and honest, but things change: green fees are revised, tee times get rearranged, course conditions shift with the weather. Always verify booking details with the course directly before travelling.

Our content is our opinion. It isn't professional travel advice, financial advice, or instructional golf coaching. Use your own judgement.

Affiliate links

Some of our articles contain affiliate links. If you book or buy something through one, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We only recommend things we would genuinely use ourselves. Any post with affiliate links will say so at the top.

Your conduct

Please don't:

  • Scrape the site automatically beyond what a reasonable human would read.
  • Attempt to break, overload, or probe the site for vulnerabilities without asking.
  • Republish our writing or illustrations elsewhere without credit and a link.

If you spot a security issue, email us at hello@birdiebrae.co.uk and we'll thank you.

Copyright

All text, illustrations and design on the site are © Birdie Brae, Glasgow, unless attributed otherwise. Feel free to link, quote briefly with attribution, or share on social media. For anything else, ask first.

Liability

We don't accept liability for any loss or inconvenience caused by relying on information published on the site. If we've got something wrong, let us know and we'll fix it.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do. Material changes will be mentioned in the next Sunday Post.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
