Course Finder by Drive Time
Tell us where you're staying — hotel, town or postcode — and we'll rank all 94 Scottish courses by estimated drive time. Filter by type and budget. No package, no commission, no spin.
How the estimates work
Drive times are calculated from the straight-line distance between your location and each course, multiplied by a road factor of 1.35 to account for Scotland's road network, then divided by an average speed of 50 km/h. The result is rounded to the nearest five minutes.
The road factor is conservative for central Scotland and optimistic for the Highlands. A course showing 45 minutes near Inverness could easily take an hour on a single-track road. Always verify with Google Maps or Waze before you leave, especially if you're heading to Argyll, the Isles, or the far north.
Geocoding uses OpenStreetMap. If your postcode returns the wrong town, try the town name directly.
